Day 12, Tuesday, July 16th

Today we took a two hour ride on a very nice ferry, Fundy Rose, from Saint John, NB, to Digby, NS,

We rode on in to the Halifax area.  Some things along the way.

Went to the lighthouse at Prim Point in Digby.  Kind of disappointing as the old one was demolished in the 1960s and the new automated house is all about function.  No romance is this structure.

Lunch at the Green Elephant.  We didn't see any purple cows though.

Fort Edward.  Hard to believe this little building remains from the original structures in the 1700s.

The local Fire Department in Windsor.

Then on to our hotel in Dartmouth which is just across the river from Halifax.  Kinda like Memphis and West Memphis, lol.  And the heat caught up with us as it was 90 as we rolled in.  Not too bad if we were back home but the highest we've seen in quite a while has been in the high 70s and low 80s so this probably felt warmer.
